This programme is interesting for women as well as men!

Women make almost 70% of wine purchases in the UK and they are keen to learn more. This weekend will answer all the questions women have about Bordeaux and never dared ask!. The weekend is aimed at making Bordeaux wines accessible and relevant to this growing market, showing the dynamic and young women wine makers and other actors in Bordeaux.

The topics covered will be of particular relevance to women: an introduction to Bordeaux wines, wine and health, choosing wine in a restaurant, labelling, food and wine matching, local cuisine classes and shopping !! Visits, lunches and diners in wine producing Château with the owners and winemakers will give a first hand experience of the role of women in today’s vineyard.
